Ethereal Rose

Sometimes I have to create in watercolor, the first medium I learned.

I love the flowing nature of the watercolors and the unexpected results I can get from splashes and a squirt from my spray bottle. This rose is rendered in hues of pinks and reds, with fluid, expressive brushstrokes that lend it a soft, ethereal quality.
